## TODAY'S #1 **JJJJound x Asics Gel-Kayano 14** climbs back to the top with a drip score of **93.88**, edging the Virgil Abloh Archive AJ1 Alaska off the throne it had held since the weekend. Reddit chatter on r/Sneakers is the loudest signal driving the move, with sticky resale prices and a fresh appearance in Hypebeast's "Best Sneaker Releases This Week" Week 2 round-up keeping the editorial heat at maximum. JJJJound continues to do more with less.
## THE BIG PICTURE We pulled some air out of the top of the index today. ON_FIRE narrowed to **13 products** (down from 14), SURGING to **49** (down from 62), and we grew the bottom of the curve - **77 in COOLING**, **17 SLEPT_ON** - because not everything labelled "hot" actually is. STEADY is now the largest bucket at **213 products**, which feels closer to honest.
The leaderboard is also better balanced across categories. Sneakers and collab drops still dominate, but Cartier, Rolex and Dior all sit in the SURGING tier, and three of the top thirty are KIT_CULTURE pieces.
