The Daily Drip, 25 June 2026: Kits Cool, Collabs Pounce
The World Cup still owns the top of the board, but the first cracks are showing. After weeks of national kits running the show, the maxed out shirts are easing back from their peaks while a wave of collab drops moves in to fill the gap.
**The movers.** Today belongs to the collaborations. LEGO x Nike jumped more than eleven points to 78 and a SURGING badge, the sort of move that only happens when a drop crosses from the sneaker forums into the mainstream feed. Right behind it, Caitlin Clark's Nike Kobe 5 Protro "Scrabble" climbed to 80 as the Clark effect keeps bending the basketball market, while Swatch x Audemars Piguet's Royal Pop pushed to 79 on the back of relentless streetwear coverage. Even luxury found a gear: the Gucci Flora 60th Anniversary bag added almost eleven points as the house leaned into its anniversary campaign.
**The coolers.** Gravity caught up with the World Cup shirts. Mexico's away kit gave back close to six points, with Portugal's home shirt, Japan's away and the USA home kit all sliding a similar amount. None of this is a collapse. These remain some of the most wanted shirts on the planet and sit firmly in SURGING and ON_FIRE territory. They are simply coming off a ceiling that could never hold forever, exactly the kind of mean reversion a healthy index should show.
**New on the board.** Two debutants landed with genuine heat. Marine Serre x Under Armour entered at 75, the capsule that finally gives Under Armour a fashion pulse, and Longchamp x Jeremy Scott's "Greetings from New York" Le Pliage arrived at 66, a postcard tote built for the feed.
**The shape of things.** Across 648 tracked products the spread stays honest: 36 ON_FIRE, 84 SURGING, 126 RISING, 234 STEADY, 151 COOLING and 19 SLEPT_ON. Most of culture is not on fire on any given day, and the board reflects that. The top end remains a kit story for now, but the collab class is making a real case to take the leaderboard back.
