Willy Chavarria Storms the Summit as the World Cup Holds the Line

The DRIPDAQ board told one clear story today: high fashion gatecrashed football's party, and football barely flinched.

The day's biggest move belonged to the adidas x Willy Chavarria Copa Mundial Megaride, which surged 12.6 points to a chart-topping 96.6 and the ON_FIRE tag. Chavarria's run is no fluke. Two more pieces from the partnership climbed alongside it: the Comienza Con El Sueno entry rose 5.6 to 93.6, and the original Megaride added 4.3 to reach 81.3. When an entire collaboration moves together, that is editorial heat turning into genuine demand, not a one-off spike.

Behind it, the World Cup kept the leaderboard's spine intact. England, Germany and Brazil's 2026 home shirts all held station inside the top five at 96.4, 96.1 and 94.5, easing back by a point or two but showing no sign of cooling while the tournament runs. LEGO x Nike rounded out the elite five at 95.3, proof that the playful collab still has legs.

Elsewhere, momentum was quieter but telling. The Nike Air Max 1 OG Red retro added 5.6 to climb out of the midfield, and the Adidas x Wales Bonner Track Pants gained 5.2 to settle at 87.2, keeping the terrace-luxe story alive. Even the returning Air Jordan 5 Black University Blue ticked up 4.2 as collectors warmed to its first retail run in two decades.

Not everything held. Nike Tech Fleece, the DR Congo kit and a Longchamp x Jeremy Scott collab each slipped around three points, the sort of gentle drift that separates lasting heat from passing noise. Even Argentina's home kit cooled slightly, a reminder that prestige alone does not keep a score up.

Two new names crashed the chart. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG 'Chinese New Year' enters at 79.1 and SURGING, riding a startling resale spike that has sent week-on-week sales soaring as collectors rediscover its understated Football Grey build. Joining it, the Nike Kobe Dunk Low Protro 'Draft Day' debuts at 73.2 and RISING, landing on its 26 June release with a Charlotte-to-LA concept that should keep demand ahead of supply.

The takeaway: collab culture is doing the heavy lifting while the World Cup anchors the top. Watch the Chavarria run, and watch that Jordan 1 resale line.
