Norway shock Brazil, and the board reshuffles

# Norway shock Brazil, and the board reshuffles

Quarter-final week at the World Cup is doing exactly what a live tournament should to a cultural momentum index: sorting the contenders from the passengers. As of this morning the top of DRIPDAQ is a wall of international kits, led by **England** (Away 97.0), **France** (Away 96.9) and **Argentina** (Home 96.8), with **Kith x Messi x adidas F50** riding Lionel Messi's tournament-leading seven goals into the same rarefied air.

## Today's biggest story **Norway** are the movers of the day. Erling Haaland and company knocked Brazil out in the last 16, and both Norway kits jumped hard (Home to 95.3, Away to 95.2) as the neutral world adopts the tournament's best underdog story. **France** confirmed a semi-final place courtesy of Mbappe and Dembele, keeping both their shirts and the **Nike x Jacquemus pre-match** piece firmly ON_FIRE.

## The fallers Elimination has a price. **Brazil's** home kit and its **Jordan Brand change kit** both took the maximum daily hit, as did the sneakers riding their coat-tails (**Air Jordan 3 Brazil**, **Nike KD 6 Brazil**). **Portugal** slid after Spain saw them off, and the co-host exits of the USA, Mexico and Canada continue to cool once-hot home shirts. Momentum, not prestige, is the only thing that keeps a score high here.

## Beyond the football Away from the pitch, the crossover heat is real. **Pop Mart Labubu** (96.1) and **Swatch x Audemars Piguet** (96.0) prove accessories can trade blows with any kit, and **Supreme x MM6 Maison Margiela** climbed into the ON_FIRE tier on the strength of that first Box Logo zip hoodie.

## New entries Three debutants join the index today. The **Air Jordan 1 High OG "Love Letter"** (82.5) arrives on the emotional pull of Michael Jordan's farewell note ahead of its August drop. The **Nike Kobe 6 Protro "Statue of Liberty"** (76.0) enters on the back of Jalen Brunson's title-winning run in New York, now the hottest Kobe on the resale market. And the **CPFM x Nike ACG** capsule (61.5) lands as a reminder that Cactus Plant Flea Market rarely misses.

Today's reset also widened the board on purpose: more genuine heat at the top, more honest cooling at the bottom, and fewer products parked in the safe middle. Most things are not hot. The ones that are, earned it.
