Final Countdown: Argentina and Spain Own the Board

Two days out from the Spain versus Argentina final at MetLife, DRIPDAQ looks less like a leaderboard and more like a teamsheet. Both finalists sit at the summit, with the Argentina and Spain home kits pinned at a maximum 97 and their away shirts close behind. When a nation is 90 minutes from a World Cup, its shirt stops being merchandise and becomes a flag, and the numbers reflect it.

The sharpest movers all trace back to the final. Messi's Adidas F50 "El Ultimo Tango" led the market with a 6.1 point jump to 95.5, a send-off narrative doing exactly what a send-off narrative does to demand. Lamine Yamal's F50 and the Kith x Messi Megaride rode the same wave, while the LABUBU x FIFA World Cup capsule (up 5.9 to 90.4) proved that tournament mania sells vinyl as readily as it sells boots.

Not everyone is celebrating. England and France, dispatched in the semi-finals and now meeting in Saturday's third-place playoff, cooled across the board. France's home and away kits shed four to five points each, and England's shirts slipped too, the inevitable correction when a run ends short of the trophy. It is not a collapse, it is gravity.

Away from the football, the sneaker calendar kept pace. Air Jordan 3 "True Blue" (91.7) and the Air Jordan 7 "Miro" (91.3) held firm as two of July's marquee retros, and the Swatch x Audemars Piguet Royal Pop stayed loud at 92.3.

Two new names joined the board today. The One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus "Devil Fruits" collection enters at 72, a Fall drop with an enormous anime fanbase already stirring, and the Nike KD 19 "Bubble Gum Bounce" arrives at 68, the pink monochrome that finally cut through Durant's candy-coated signature run.

The shape of the market tells its own story. With the final looming, twelve products are genuinely ON_FIRE and the middle stays thick with STEADY names doing normal business. That is honest. Most things are not hot, and the ones that are earned it this week under the brightest lights in sport. Sunday settles the top of the board. Until then, back the flags.
