Why it's moving
The shoe Vince Carter wore for the Dunk of Death over Frederic Weis at Sydney 2000 returns in its definitive White/Navy Olympic colourway on 26 June. The Eric Avar-designed BB4 introduced Nike's column-style Shox cushioning and remains one of the most recognisable basketball silhouettes of the millennium era. Twenty-five years on, retro demand for early-2000s tech runners is climbing fast, and nostalgia is doing the heavy lifting here.
